We are a commercial and agricultural building contractor based out of Warsaw, NY. Owned and operated by brothers Beau & Tyye Wolcott.
Below is a little bit about us and how we operate.
One of the things we're most proud of is the training facility located inside our shop. We built it because we believe customers should never have to pay for a contractor's learning curve. Sending untrained employees onto a project isn't fair to the customer, isn't fair to the employee, and often creates unnecessary safety risks.
We invest in training because we believe people should constantly be improving. Most people want to provide a better life for their families, grow their skills, and move forward in life. We want to build a company filled with people who share that mindset.
The construction industry has no shortage of companies willing to chase the next dollar. We see things differently.
Of course we want to make a profit. Every successful business must. But profit only matters if the customer receives a quality product in return. We're not interested in cutting corners, lowering standards, or sacrificing workmanship to improve margins. We'd rather lose a project than build something we wouldn't proudly put our name on.
The customers we work best with are people who value quality, professionalism, and long-term value. We aren't usually the right fit for someone looking for the absolute lowest price. We are a good fit for customers who understand that a building is a long-term investment and want it built correctly.
We are also obsessed with efficiency—but not for the reason most people think.
When a customer is waiting on a building, they're often waiting to put that building to work. A warehouse can't store a product until it's complete. A trucking company can't service equipment in a shop that isn't finished. A farm can't utilize a facility that is still under construction.
Time matters.
Our goal is to complete projects safely, on schedule, on budget, and with as little disruption to the customer's operations as possible. We never sacrifice quality for speed, but we also believe customers shouldn't have to pay for inefficiency.
Our work is inspected every single day. Not because we're looking for problems, but because we know customers are trusting us with a significant investment.
The reality is that every contractor makes mistakes. We've had times where something wasn't up to our standards and needed to be redone. When that happens, we don't hide it, make excuses, or hope nobody notices.
We fix it.
If a panel needs to come off, it comes off. If something needs to be rebuilt, we rebuild it. We'd rather absorb the cost ourselves than leave a customer with a finished product that isn't the best we're capable of delivering.
To us, quality isn't about never making mistakes. Quality is having the integrity to correct them when they happen.
Customer service and integrity are non-negotiable at Wolcott Construction Services. Any employee who is disrespectful or dishonest with a customer, coworker, or supplier has no place in our organization. We maintain a zero-tolerance standard for dishonesty, excuses, and disrespect because trust is the foundation of every successful project.
At the end of the day, we're not trying to become known as the biggest contractor. We're trying to become known as the contractor customers trust. The one they call back for the second project, the third project, and eventually recommend to their friends, family, and business partners.
If you are planning a new building, addition or repair, we would be grateful for the opportunity to learn more about your project and see if we are the right fit.
